Xls-Xlsx to Pdf Converter 3000 is a high-quality office tool to convert your Excel spreadsheets into PDF documents. The program offers a range of options that will let you customize the PDF output to fit your conversion needs better. Its batch functions, together with the possibility of saving and loading file lists, will allow you to perform bulk conversions whenever it is more convenient for you.

The program offers three output PDF modes – default, text, and image. The first two modes will allow you to search within the text, and even modify it if you happen to have access to a PDF editing tool (such as Adobe Acrobat). When using the image mode, however, all the textual and graphical elements of the original XLS or XLSX file will be transformed into images. Each page will become a graphical and uneditable representation of the original layout of the Excel spreadsheet.

Other settings will allow you to customize the final appearance of the PDF output further. Thus, you can decide on the dimensions of your PDF page, or add text and image watermarks to your documents (these too are fully customizable). Finally, you can also apply password protection to output files.

All these settings, though far from comprehensive, give you an acceptable level of flexibility when producing PDF files out of your spreadsheets. The output quality is certainly above average, with good renditions of original layouts. Settings, however, seem to be somehow scattered all over the interface – grouping them together would improve the overall usability.
